LD-13 studio
At the LD-13 studio and within our New York community, we value the importance of an authentic creative process. Through material experimentation and deconstruction, we make the ordinary extraordinary again - questioning, dissecting, and refining every detail that would typically be taken for granted. Our team draws, cuts, drapes, patterns and fits by hand prior to any digitalization, supporting creativity from sketch to the finished product.
fashion week
supply chain
Our Farm to Fashion system, developed in collaboration with Isabella Rossellini, Marie Minnich (farmer and board member of the livestock conservancy), and Jacob Oblong (CEO of American Woolen), aims to revive local and independent US supply chains while safeguarding material biodiversity. Together, we created a high-end heritage textile breed – the first of its kind – using the wool of the endangered Romeldale sheep. The Romeldale Textile started our journey to support and collaborate with manufacturers using local materials to drive innovation and a conscious mindset. This material can now be enjoyed in the form of LD-13 coats and jackets. Together, we can benefit from local luxuries while keeping the art of craft alive.

LD-13 designs are inspired by global communities in NYC, Paris, and beyond. Different perspectives weave uniqueness into our designs: our versatile pieces are created to suit both urban metropolitan city-dwellers and rural farming communities, encouraging a MORE FROM LESS lifestyle.
